Direct advertising isn't quite a thing of the past... yet. Your blurb or banner is more resistant to ad-blocker extensions, you can target the audience you're trying to reach with more precision, and you can talk to a human being if there's ever a problem!
In addition to popular ad platforms like Google Ads, Infolinks, and AdRoll, direct advertising can be a great adjunct to your service's advertising portfolio so you can reach audiences that are far and wide as well as targeted and specific.
Our direct ad space is based on availability. The price is based on the placement of the ad and how much space you want for a minimum seven-day period. Our rates include tax, so what you see is what you get.
Rules
A few rules on advertising with us.
No personal ads. No exceptions.
This next one should be self-explanatory, but advertising any illicit service, or any implication of advertising an illicit service, be it unlawful gambling, prostitution, the sale of controlled substances, cattle rustling, selling hot stereos out of a sketchy-looking van, etc. is strictly prohibited.
No pornography. What this means is that your ad shouldn't be of a pornographic nature. You are welcome to advertise your adult-oriented business on our site, so long as the image in your direct ad does not portray graphic or explicit sexual content.
HawaiiLocal.News reserves the right to refuse publication of any advertisement, for any reason. In the rare event we would ever refuse publication after receipt of funds, payment will be refunded in full.
No refunds after receipt of payment, except as described above or if we sold you ad space that is not available by mistake.
Newly purchased ads will be published before 4 p.m. HST on the day requested, and will stay active until Noon HST on the day they are set to expire. Ads will not be published until payment is received in full for the desired amount of time.
HawaiiLocal.News will neither remove ads at the request of our users, nor change editorial content at the request of our advertisers.
Ad space will be unavailable until October 1, 2024.
